CFTWS, in partnership with ambit international, offers a variety of programs, tools and options to help you reach your Spanish speaking market. Vicky Gonzalez, owner of ambit international, along with her training consultants, are the facilitators of the “Spanish for Financial Professionals” curriculum of training courses listed below. CFTWS has partnered with ambit international since 1992 to offer programs in language and diversity training in response to the demand for banking specific Spanish curriculum. They have been successfully delivered throughout the United States enabling participants to communicate with Spanish speaking clients in a clear and concise manner.

COURSE CONTENT:

All of CFTWS’ “Spanish for Financial Professionals” programs are unique in that they are designed specifically to emphasize FINANCIAL TERMINOLOGY. Each program includes a Student Handbook and Spanish-to-English Glossary, and may include a reinforcement CD.

TRAINING OPTIONS:

PROGRAM SELECTIONS:

SPANISH “IN A DAY” FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS – 6½-Hour Workshop
Participants walk away with tools that help them with “basic” financial transactions.

SPANISH: AN INTRODUCTION FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS—2-Day Workshop
Participants will be given tools to help them with basic financial transactions, as well as the opportunity to practice and apply the language skills learned.

SPANISH “REFRESHER” FOR BILINGUAL FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS – 6½-Hour Workshop
Designed to familiarize participants with many of the rules of engagement that govern Spanish grammar and syntax. Participants will be given tools and terminology needed to provide better service in Spanish.

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH FOR BEGINNERS – 6½-Hour Workshop
Designed to provide participants with a safe environment to practice using their Spanish in day-to-day interactions with customers.

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH FOR BILINGUAL FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS – 10-Hour Workshop delivered in four 2½ hour sessions
Participants will join their bilingual colleagues in participating in role playing, chatting and sharing spoken Spanish on several subjects and themes.

ADVANCED SPANISH FOR BILINGUAL FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS—6-Hour Workshop
Designed for individuals who have grown up bilingual who would like to enhance their language skills by learning to use them professionally.

SPANISH SERIES
A Series of 3 Programs: Beginning, Intermediate and Diversity Within The Spanish Speaking Culture Designed to provide participants with a smooth transition from Beginning Spanish to Intermediate, and ultimately, to a better understanding of communicating beyond language.

Beginning Spanish – 24-Hour Workshop delivered in eight 3-hour sessions
Emphasis in placed on banking terminology, giving participants the tools to greet customers, and assist them with basic banking forms and transactions.

Intermediate Spanish – 24-Hour Workshop delivered in eight 3-hour sessions
Additional emphasis is placed on banking terminology and everyday transactions, while introducing common verbs and phrases needed to sustain more elaborate conversations with customers.

Diversity Within The Spanish-Speaking Culture – 3-Hour Workshop
Good communication goes beyond language. Participants will learn to understand and be sensitive to differences within the different Spanish-speaking countries.
